Space Pirates

I would like to share my dream with you over a cup of coffee.  I will wait for you to get one.  Go ahead.  My choice is a cup of Green Mountain Coffee , Southern Pecan flavor, but feel free to have what you would like.  Tea, maybe?  I'll wait. Okay, so, now you have your hot drink?  I heard somewhere that no one wants to hear your dreams.  If that is the case, maybe you should stop reading and go enjoy your warm beverage.  I think this a pretty good one, though. I've added a few literary embellishments, but for the most part it's from the dream.  Aunt Terrance, name and description, all came from the dream, for example.  Sip away and read on! I was on this space station with my best friend which is all I had for a crew at the time.  We were laying low, but we had to find a new “tech” guy before we headed out. We already pulled one job (read, "stole something important") and we needed to get out of there before any...

Oxygen Mask

So I've decided that time to yourself is very important. And tea ... lots of hot tea fixes anything. Some good music and a good book doesn't hurt either. This clicked in my head and I decided that I needed an oxygen mask kind of day. I finished 2 books-- Avon romance novels, my favorite--and consumed numerous cups of tea while staying warm under my heated blanket . (One of my favorite inventions, by the way, I wish I could claim it for my own.) I'm feeling better and more myself! I made a new playlist and I'm...

Here's the Deal

I'm in New Hampshire . It's cold. It's cold most places in the same geographical area because it is winter, but it is very cold in New Hampshire. How did I end up in New Hampshire in a library in the middle of winter about 8 months after I graduated? Well, here's the deal. I didn't know what to do with life after college--I wasn't too good at figuring out life during college either, but that's another story. I decided to return to my summer job of the past few summers in New Hampshire at The Summer Theatre in Meredith Village . I worked in the box office for the summer and returned home to figure out my next plan of action. First on my list was to get my license . I had gotten to 22 years old without having anything more than a permit and it was time to go beyond. Time to seek my indepence and set out on my own! (Did I mention that I'm an actor and I can be a bit overly dramatic at times?) I did indeed get my license and I almost felt like a rea...
